All The News That's Fit To Print
The Plea
Hey jokesters:
For those of you who FREQ or DOWNLOAD the Humor Digest directly from
Pandora's Box, here is some important information: The Digest is available
starting on the 25th day of the previous month! So; as an example, the
October issue will NOT be available until September 25th! PLEASE!! stop
wasting your money calling any earlier than that.
Thanx!
A big thank you goes out to Steve Gabrilowitz and John Nicholson for
bringing a major problem to our attention. They noticed that our Read-1st
file could not be un-arced on their systems. The reason for this problem
was that we had inadvertently named the File: Read.1st.Txt, instead of:
Read-1st.txt. We have taken care of this problem in this issue.
As before please send all replies either via the Humor Echo or mail
them to this address:

Springfield, OR 97478
The Future
Well, the future is here! We are starting a new addition called the
BONUS SECTION. Every once and a while we'll throw in a lengthy humorous
item that would not usually fit into the Humor Digest itself. The BONUS
SECTION Will be in a separate file called... BONUS-??.txt.
Also, we have changed the 'One-Liner' section names to 'Question and
Answer Jokes', as that is what the jokes have been all along. We hope
this won't cause any undue stress on your part.
The time is almost here for the release of the PUBLISHED version of
the BBS Humor Digest! We've got thing really rolling and we will have the
first copies off of the presses by Jan 1991!
The printed version of the Digest will contain, not only the great
humor you've seen up to now, but also Cartooning and Art-work from local
artists!
As a reward for being so loyal to the BBS Humor Digest, we're going
make the following offer: To the first One Hundred (100) letters or cards
we receive via the mail, we will send that person a FREE copy of our
magazine when it comes off the presses in Jan! Don't miss out, get your
reply into the mail today!
The Brag
Well folks, we've been at it for just over 7 months now, and we can
still not see an end to the jokes. We're SURE there is an ever-bubbling
joke cauldron out there somewhere... something like the fountain of youth
maybe. As of this issue we are set to continue serving you until...
April 1991!
